Spools are a crafting currency used to create cosmetic items in Don't Starve Together. You can spend them to Weave eligible character skins, clothing, item skins, and other cosmetics from the Curio Collection.

Unlike Bolts, Spools cannot be used to purchase items directly from the store.

The main way to obtain Spools is by Unraveling cosmetic items you already own. Most duplicate or unwanted skins can be unraveled in exchange for a certain amount of Spools, depending on their rarity.

You can also earn cosmetics through gameplay and decide whether to keep or unravel them to build up your Spool collection.
