To prevent the game from crashing on devices with limited RAM (4 GB or less), caves are automatically disabled, meaning it is not possible to add them when hosting a server. 

However, you can join a server hosted by someone with a device that has more RAM and play with caves. It's just not possible to add them if you're hosting the server.
