To make your life easier, multiple selection is available in the game.

In the inventory, you can long-press an item to enable multi-select mode. Alternatively, you can tap the little check mark next to the Inventory title.

Then, select as many items as you want to place in the other container, or drop them all with the buttons above the slots.

These buttons only appear if the action is possible, and you cannot drop items inside bases.
