Unfortunately, it seems that these crashes are linked to the way in which iOS devices manage the allocation of RAM used by applications. When an app uses slightly too much RAM, Apple automatically closes it.
If this is happening to you, it means that your device has less than 4 GB of RAM and is therefore unable to run the game properly.
This issue generally affects the following devices:
- iPhone Xr
- iPhone SE Gen 2 (2020)
- iPad Mini Gen 5
- iPad Air Gen 3
- iPad Gen 8
- iPad Gen 9
We are unable to exclude these devices from downloading the game because Apple only allows us to exclude devices by chip type, not by the amount of RAM they have. For the best experience, we do not recommend playing on these models.
We're investigating this issue, but in the meantime, you can try the following steps:
- Close all the apps on your device, even those running in the background
- Restart your device
- Only launch Chants of Sennaar and no other apps
Our apologies for the inconvenience!
