The difficulty curve may seem tough at times, but every boss has a weakness! 

If you're stuck in a fight you can't win, try different instruments, change or improve your riffs (you can also fight mobs to earn money and buy new riffs).

To make the fights easier, you can choose to make QTEs automatic in the game's Options menu.
